We are always want to hear from young people (you!) how we can all make the day more enjoyable.
At the games, the WLHG Youth Forum arrange and manage the 'Youth Marquee' containing craft workshops, children's entertainers, clowns, face painting, balloon modelling, games, competitions, live music....the list is endless.
We also arrange army displays, including the Golden Lions Freefall Parachute Display team, careers stands, treasure hunts... This has proved to be a great success and the number of families attending the games continues to rise each year - it really is a great day out.
Through the year, we hold ceilidhs to promote Scottish culture and school talks to help children discover the fun that lies in our country's tradition. We hold an annual poster competition, covering West Lothian's 66 primary schools.
The forum is a group of 11-18 year olds who organise all of these activities. However, to make sure the day is as good as possible, we need more and more new ideas. This is why we have launched the WLHG Youth Section of the website - the online way to have your say.
This section is under construction, more features to follow. If you have a great idea or want to get involved, send us a message via the 'Contact' section.
